Project Overview
German energy plant company Streicher and Tunisian civil engineering company Bouchamaui were both responsible for pipeline construction, engineering and procurement for OMVs Nawara and South Tunisia Gas Development Project. The companies contracted Shaw Manufacturing to develop bespoke mobile scraper launchers to be deployed on the project.
Challenge
- Streicher and Bouchamaoui required the mobile scraper launchers to be designed and manufactured to parameters of 6” x 8” for use on the project.
- The products had to be delivered on schedule and remain within a set budget without compromising on quality.
- The launchers needed to comply with strict Tunisian specifications as well as client requirements.
